Lancaster Fraser Canyon Photo Album
Hi I am Bart Lancaster and have run Lancaster Fraser Canyon Outfitters for over 10 years. In the process we have taken some tremendous animals including a gross 239 B&C mule deer, 21 ¼ B&C red phase black bear, 16’ B&C cougar, world record SCI black powder lynx, and several great California Bighorns. Along with these great animals are memories and friendships that would never have developed without the guide area. Thanks to all our past clients-friends and hello to all of you we hope to bring smiles to in the future.

All cat hunts for lynx, bobcat and cougar plus most hunts for black bear are done behind hound dogs. LFCO holds a passion for hound hunting and cherish this forever-loved North American past time of listening to the pursuit of hound dogs on the trail. This is the foundation of our great success over so many hard run chases! We the crew believe in giving the same amount of heart and try to the hunt as our hounds do. Hunt success is never certain but our 110% effort is! All color phase black bear hunts done in May & June. Cat hunts done in December and February.

LFCO HUNTS 1000 sq. miles of rolling fir ridges and open sage canyons along the Fraser River in mid-central British Columbia, Canada. We hunt a lot of winter range and thus there is an abundance of all game species. The country varies from open fir ridges and logging blocks in the backcountry to open sage flats with timbered ravines in the river break country. LFCO’s new lodge was completed in November of 2000. It is a beautiful 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom plus sat. tv lodge made to accommodate the hunter who is looking to relax but not rough it. The meals are home cooked and no matter how hard you hunt we know that the cooks can fatten you up on this trip. All hunting is done by travelling in a 4x4 vehicle, spotting game and hiking in road less areas or ski-doing. We have the ability to cater to all levels of clients. The scenery is breathtaking, the atmosphere is fun and the hunting is hard to rival.

Mule deer hunting is done in October and November. We do 1on 1 hunts and 2 on 1 hunts. Glassing from pick-up trucks before stalking in beautiful river breaks country. 10 to 12 deer hunters are taken per year. This is a great father and son hunt.

All hunters are picked up and dropped off at WILLIAMS LAKE BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA. Via Vancouver B.C. Canada.
